My animal pot is of the White Tailed Black Cockatoo from the south-west of Western
Australia. This animal is shown to be endangered on the Photo Ark project site. This animal's home land has been a victim of agriculture. Agriculture is the destruction of habitat for the growth of crops and raising of livestock. When I first looked at this animal I thought it

looked very cool but weird at the same time. Some aspects of it I found interesting such as the “hair” but others I found weird, such as the beak exposing the inside of the mouth. Working on this project had a lot of ups and downs. Working with clay for the first time in a while was refreshing and made it easy to keep going but when a part of my pot, the legs, kept snapping off and breaking, I lost some hope in the project. The most important thing about creating this project was to spread word about this animal, but how exactly will that help its status? Well, we can try to stop the spread of agriculture and try to have people grow their own food more often.
